Description
This is a new version of The Slow Tick of Time converted into monochrome and with an overlying texture. This isn’t something that I’ve ever done before (or ever considered really) so it was an interesting process to try out. The credit should really go to my good friend as she was the one who convinced me to try the technique out in the first place (her version of the image can be seen here). Thanks for the nudge, Chantal!
I’m not sure if I’ll make this a regular thing (I like photos to speak for themselves, with minimal editing) but it is a useful and interesting technique to have. There are a few other pics that I’ve been working on like this one though so I’ll post those soon as well. Also, I'm not sure if this level of editing means that it should go into the photo-manipulation category or not. I'll leave it in this one until told otherwise.
