My Domain

Well, the snow has fallen again and when that happens I start thinking of the mountains and all the fun that goes along with them. Over the Christmas break I was in Austria skiing for the first time in years and ever since then I have been thinking about the slopes constantly.

This image isn’t from that trip but it pretty well sums up everything I love about the mountains; their size and scale, their rugged beauty and the shear majesty and presence. They are an awe-inspiring sight. I’ve always loved them and probably always will. It’s just a shame I was born in such a flat area. Around here you’d be hard pressed to find so much as a hillock let alone a mountain.

Oh, and I'm really glad I caught the paragliders. I didn't think they would come out but there they are. I got lucky I guess.
