This house, in the southern Polish town of Zakopane, was just BEGGING to have its picture taken! And how could I refuse?!
 Just look at it! It’s awesome!  It was perched near the top of a large valley that stretches off behind it so the occupants must have an amazing view. I was so jealous! ^^This kind of architecture is very particular to the Zakopane region (although most of the houses are not this grand  ) and the locals are very proud of it. But sadly, like many places in the world, the old traditions are beginning to die out. This style is becoming rarer and rarer and it just being replaces by the boring and ugly style that you can find in any fast food “restaurant” nowadays. It’s a real shame but at least there are still some buildings that can remind us of the places past. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
