If I had to pick one PC game release in 2007 to save for posterity then without a doubt it would be Crysis.

Crytek’s near-future alien/Korean blasting shooter is as stunning technically as it is creatively and is a real joy to play. It’s a beautiful looking game in every respect and is definitely the new benchmark for any future FPS’s. The environments are lush and vibrant, and the characters are wonderfully detailed and lifelike. Add to that a fantastic set of physics, fast pace gameplay, and a top-notch story and you have a real winner! My only major criticism with the game though is that it is mind-numbingly power hungry. Those great graphics and that amazing physics engine come at a pretty big price. Even when it’s running on a new computer like mine (which is no Sloth, that’s for sure) it really struggles to get past the medium settings. That isn’t a huge problem mind, it still looks amazing even like that, but to fully appreciate it you do need to have a top of the line gaming machine.

Don’t let that put you off though; Crysis is now one of my favourite FPS’s of all time and it is going to take a lot to dislodge it from its pedestal. :)

Anyway, I hope you like the stamp! I’m pleased with the way this one came out actually. ^^ I may well do some more so look out for them. Feel free you use it in your journal/shoutboard. ;) I’d appreciate knowing if you use it though. It’s only polite. :)

Yeah, I put these together. :) The main picture in this particular stamp was taken from the cover of the game and I found the hexagon pattern in the official fan-kit thingy. I just added two and two together. ^^

For me, making these is just a bit of fun more than anything. It just gives a bit more variety to the ol' gallery than just photography I suppose as well. It’s by no means my main focus though. I’m still a photographer at heart! ^^ I just make them when the feeling takes me. :)

It's certainly a great game, that's for sure. Visually stunning, engrossing gameplay, and a good story. What more can you ask for. ^^ Just be aware that it is pretty power hungry. Even on new machines it can be tricky to get up to the top setting (although the patches do help with that). Having said that though, even on the medium or low settings it still looks pretty darn good. You wouldn't be disappointed, I guarantee it. :)

Thanks for the comment!
