An interesting door I came across in Assens, Denmark. 
This is actually the front door of Admiral Peter Willemoes’s old house, the guy I featured in this picture a little while ago. The old naval officers home is actually now a museum dedicated to him and Danish seafaring tradition, which seems like a good way of preserving his memory as well as the history of the local area. I always appreciate seeing that kind of stuff. ^^
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to go inside as it was closed (which seemed a tad odd frankly, as it was during the summer holidays) but I lifted myself up and had a quick look through the window. It looked like there were all sorts of interesting bits-and-bobs in there so hopefully I can go back sometime. Museum clutter is always nice.

Nice shot, and a great bit of history. Bummer about not being able to go in though.
Have you thought about trying to edit out the entrance sign and blue pole? I don't know if it is possible but if you could I think it would add a lot to the photo. Right now they are a wee bit distracting.
